The Polish Circles of Art in China Festival collaborated with the Hainan International Film Festival, thanks to which Chinese audiences will view the triptych “Three Colours” by Kieślowski.
The first edition of HIFF will take place between 9-16 of December on the tropical island of Hajnan in the city of Sanya. The region is called the “Chinese Hawaii”, and quickly gained the status of one of the most attractive touristic regions in the world. Hosting the finals of the Miss World pageant, which took place in Sanya, only added to marketing the attributes of the island.
Thanks to the cooperation with the Circles of Art Foundation during the Hainan International Film Festival, the film triptych by Kieślowski: “Three Colours. Blue”, “Three Colours. White” and “Three Colours. Red” will be screened.
Isabel Huppert – the two-time winner of the Palme d’Or in Cannes for best actress – and the event ambassador – Jackie Chan, both confirmed their attendance. As the organisers underline, the aim of the event is create space for dialogue and collaboration in the film industry.
Film screenings during the Hainan International Film Festival will be part of our Circles of Art Festival in China.
